From time to time, we like to turn the spotlight on members of the STRANGE PARADISE cast in their other various endeavors. This time around we're giving you a slightly gruesome image of Cosette Lee in one of her final films, the 1974 horror production DERANGED. In this shot, Cosette lies in a coffin, just having been dug out of her character's grave. So STRANGE PARADISE wasn't the only creepy production which boasted Cosette in its cast!

From time to time, we like to turn the spotlight on members of the STRANGE PARADISE cast in their other various endeavors. This time around we're digging deep into the archives to bring you an image of Trudy Young in an uncredited performance. This shot is from the 1969 feature film THE FIRST TIME. The production features an early performance from Jacqueline Bisset, and even a supporting turn from Cosette Lee, but Trudy's involvement in the project came to light only recently.

A Little Strange Music: Score Productions and the Music of Maljardin

Anyone who has ever watched STRANGE PARADISE is unlikely to mistake its distinctive title theme for anything else. With its primitive jungle drums and its eerie woodwinds, the piece is unique and memorable, setting the tone for an offbeat production. In fact, all of the series original music is heavily responsible for evoking the proper mood for the show, but little credit has been given to its creators. STRANGE PARADISE could have been quite a different production if not for the musical efforts of Score Productions.

Greetings, Strangers! From time to time, we like to turn the spotlight on members of the STRANGE PARADISE cast in their other various endeavors. This month we bring you an image of our own Tudi Wiggins from circa 1976, accompanied by actress Audrey Peters. This photo is a publicity still from the soap opera LOVE OF LIFE, one of many daytime dramas in which Tudi appeared. But before she graced the casts of those other series, she menaced the inhabitants of Maljardin.

The Vignettes:STRANGE PARADISEs lost pitch reel

Exploring the roots of STRANGE PARADISE poses a daunting task for even the most dedicated researcher in the 21st century. Both of the series co-creators passed away decades ago, and the majority of the documentation on its actual production is reported to have been destroyed during a round of housecleaning at CityTV. However, some artifacts have managed to survive the passing years, due in large part to cast and crew members who personally rescued bits and pieces of the production when the series ended.
